In 1974, an ex-Army officer in Fayetteville realized he couldn’t afford to establish a library, so he did the second-best thing. From modest beginnings that included Canada Dry Ginger Ale crates, buildings originally designed to function as chicken coops, and a store that the founder built himself, Edward McKay Used Books & More has grown to four stores across North Carolina…
… including the big big big and BUSY BUSY BUSY Greensboro location. There is so much coming into and out of this store that we’re working literally around the clock to stock and shelve all the new items that are coming in.
The over 10,000 square feet in this store hold an amazing amount of merchandise, including used books, textbooks, audiobooks, music CDs, vinyl records, DVDs (and Blu-Ray), VHS (yes! still!), video games, iPods and other electronics, eReaders, and much, much more.
Between the offerings from you, the public, the new video games we get in, and our rollicking gift department, we have something for everybody.
We’re open seven days a week to buy, sell, and trade. Drop by or give us a call; we’re ready to feed your head! Feel free to explore this site to learn what we sell, what we buy, what we trade, and what’s going on.
